What initially brought you to memoryBlue?
I knew I wanted to get into sales, but I didn’t want just any sales job. I wanted to work for a company that actually took the time to train their employees and help them grow as young professionals. The pathway that memoryBlue offers to be hired by a client or to be internally promoted was an added bonus to what I was looking for in a sales job!
Soon after starting at memoryBlue you were promoted to the Search team. How did this career move fit into your long-term career goals?
After playing baseball at both the collegiate and international level, I knew I had to start thinking about a career. Right off the bat I thought it would be great to become a MLB scout. After careful consideration, I realized I didn’t want to be on the road all the time, but wanted to somehow scout talent and work in the business world. For this reason, since starting with memoryBlue a career with the Search practice has always at the top of my list. My role now as a Search Consultant allows me to be a scout for sales talent – it’s the best of both worlds!
Why do you stay with memoryBlue?
Right now is a really great time to be a part of the rapid growth taking place at memoryBlue. This firm is a great place to kick-start careers, and while others use it as a stepping stone, I chose to stay and grow with a company that’s expanding rapidly.
