Below is the memoryBlue weekly bulletin, delivering sales development insights every Monday to our entire slate of high-tech clients. The updates span all six memoryBlue offices, encompassing 175+ sales development campaigns and 300+ SDRs working relentlessly to generate net new revenue for these businesses.
This week we commend an SDR’s impressive first week on their client’s campaign and announce our 2023 Alumni of the Year!
Notable Numbers
- 83.76% – Percent of meetings booked by phone call last week. This is a slight increase compared to the overall month’s percentage of 82.66% of meetings booked on the phone.
- 10.90% – Percent of meetings booked by email last week. While we don’t primarily rely on emails, they still hold tremendous value due their higher hold rate of meetings.
- 7.71 – Average lead score last week. This was a 3.2% increase from the previous week’s average!
Highlight of the Week
While we firmly believe in training up our new hires to ensure they’re prepared to crush their role, we also recognize that there’s a certain level of self-discipline and personal accountability that can’t be taught.
For this reason, our vigorous interview process is designed to pick out strong candidates like SDR Becca who already demonstrate qualities that we know will best serve our clients. As the newest member of DM Conner Foote’s team, Becca started her first week strong and finished it even stronger! She locked in a meeting on her first day of dialing and proceeded to nail down eight more throughout the week with a 50% conversion rate! She is a perfect demonstration of how we strive to serve in the way she hit the ground running and never took her foot off the gas until her work was done.
2023 Alumni of the Year
We are pleased to present our newest memoryBlue Alumni of the Year Stuart Dyer. While this year’s pool of applicants was extremely competitive, Stu’s accomplishments in 2022 especially impressed each pool of voters, awarding him the grand prize of $5,000 dollars!
Since leaving memoryBlue in 2011 Stu’s career has been an inspirational upward trajectory for us all to witness. He is now the First Vice President at CBRE and brought in over $2 billion dollars in total contract value with his team in 2022 alone. We’re looking forward to hosting Stu in our HQ office next week to officially present his award and get the chance to hear the story behind his vast success.
