memoryBlue Insights 5/8/23

Below is the memoryBlue weekly bulletin, delivering sales development insights every Monday to our entire slate of high-tech clients. The updates span all six memoryBlue offices, encompassing 175+ sales development campaigns and 300+ SDRs working relentlessly to generate net new revenue for these businesses.

This week we’re giving the spotlight to Team Harbaugh for an impressive collective effort and our 2023 Alumni of the Year Stu Dyer as he joined us for a fireside chat!

Notable Numbers

  • 7.72% – Percent increase in our average conversion rate from January ’23 to April ’23. It’s encouraging to see a steady increase in the number of cold calls converting to meetings as our SDRs effectively source out viable prospects.
  • 70% – Percent of leads scored in April. We are so appreciative of the time you take to give us valuable feedback on each of the leads our teams bring in!
  • 141 – Number of mB Academy attendees YTD.We’re thrilled to be consistently booking up our Academy training cohorts with both strong internal hires and clients.

Highlight of the Week

Delivery Manager Nick Harbaugh had an exceptional week thanks to the collective hard work from each of his SDRs. While being an SDR can often feel like a mindless numbers game, we train our SDRs to focus on quality and intentionality instead.

This mindset shift results in amazing success stories like Team Harbaugh finishing off the week with 13 books after just 40 connections with prospects. That’s a solid conversion rate of 32.5%! While we do enforce designated blitz periods dedicated to cold calling, it’s about hunting for quality conversations rather than mindlessly dialing. In fact, the highest dialer on Nick’s team only made 151 calls and yet because of the deliberation behind each of them, he still delivered amazing results.

 

Fireside Chat

This week had the pleasure of hosting our 2023 Alumni of the Year Stu Dyer for a fireside chat with our Head of Client Delivery Kristen Wisdorf. In such a short amount of time Stu was able to offer valuable wisdom, insights, and inspiration for each of our SDRs as they embark on their sales career.

It was especially impactful to hear how memoryBlue played a key role in such a pivotal moment in his life. By giving him the chance to enter into tech sales, his role at memoryBlue opened up a door of possibilities that has now led to enormous success! He is a perfect representation of why we so strongly believe in the business model we’ve created and the opportunities it can create for both our clients and our employees!
