President

Aurelien Mottier serves as our President since the acquisition of Operatix in 2023. Since founding Operatix back in 2012, Mottier served as the CEO for seven years, leading Operatix in its climb to the top ranks of outsourced sales providers. 

Mottier’s leadership philosophy centers on a commitment to excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction; a strategy that enabled Operatix to flourish and continues to empower our joint memoryBlue & Operatix entity! As President, Mottier continues to set new standards of success, aiding our company with the necessary tools and insights to thrive in such a competitive and fast-paced industry. 

Glen Haertel

Glenn Haertel

Head of Sales

Glenn Haertel is a seasoned sales executive with over 25 years of experience accelerating revenue growth and transforming businesses globally.

Known for his strategic, consultative approach, Glenn has successfully led go-to-market initiatives and scaled high-performing teams at companies including Displaydata, Factor 8, and Blacklidge. He brings deep expertise in sales training, revenue acceleration, and business transformation to memoryBlue.

Glenn is a graduate of Auburn University and lives in Atlanta, where he enjoys boating with his family.

Robert Westell

Head of International Delivery & COO

Robert Westell operates as the Head of International Delivery and Chief Operating Officer since memoryBlue’s integration with Operatix. His journey at Operatix began back in 2012, where he served as an integral part of the leadership team, overseeing all aspects of operations, and focusing on optimizing efficiency, scalability, and profitability.

He is adept at building and leading dynamic teams, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. His collaborative leadership style empowers employees at all levels to contribute their best, resulting in a cohesive and high-performing organization. His commitment and dedication to our firm has continued to play a major role in company success as we’ve navigated our 2023 acquisition of Operatix and expanded our global footprint. 

Simon Hyams
Head of Finance, Risk, and Compliance

Simon Hyams has served as the Head of Finance, Risk, and Compliance since our 2023 acquisition, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise in the realm of financial management. With a background steeped in finance and risk assessment, Simon is committed to ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory adherence within the organization. 

Before assuming his current role, Hyams held pivotal positions in prominent financial institutions, where he refined his skills in financial analysis, strategic planning, and risk mitigation. This diverse background, has aided in success as he’s skillfully navigated our company integration and tackled complex challenges with confidence and resilience. 

With Hyams leading our team of financial analysts and accountants, memoryBlue X Operatix is primed for sustained success and expansion in today’s rapidly evolving sales industry. 

Catarina Hoch

Vice President of Global Marketing

Since memoryBlue’s acquisition of Operatix, Catarina Hoch has begun to lead our marketing team as Vice President of Global Marketing. Her visionary leadership and relentless dedication to understanding market trends and customer needs has been pivotal in driving growth and maximizing brand visibility.

Hoch’s diverse background in sales and marketing enabled her to attain a spot in Operatix’s leadership just one year after her start back in 2016. Since then, she has driven significant revenue growth for the firm and led with a rare blend of creativity, insight, and determination. From her ability to optimize processes and maximize performance, to prioritizing both inbound and outbound campaigning, she has enabled our firm to maintain a strong presence in the ever-evolving landscape of sales.

With Hoch’s expertise and proven track record of success, she also earned a spot on our board of directors, making her the first woman in Operatix’s company history to hold this role! 

Ben Idle
Head of Talent

Ben currently serves as the Head of Talent at memoryBlue and is responsible for managing recruitment efforts for all six of our offices countrywide. Prior to his start here, Ben was a Director in Talent Acquisition focused primarily on Sales Recruiting opportunities in Gartner’s offices in Fort Myers, Dallas, London and Barcelona. Ben graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Broadcast News. In total, he has spent the last 15 years in Recruiting with stints in health care, consulting and recruitment advertising. 

During his time at Gartner, Ben accrued seven years of valuable experience across roles including Recruiter, Campus Recruiting Manager and global Director. He has a passion for coaching teams, seeing candidates of all tenures get the coaching and training they deserve and meeting the needs of memoryBlue’s hiring efforts. 

Ben has already begun developing strong internal and external partnerships, providing great candidate care and bringing in high quality talent to the organization. 

Michelle Galatis
Director of Academy

Michelle Galatis leads the memoryBlue Academy programs that focus on sales development representative (SDR) and SDR management training. She exudes passion in her creation, delivery, and promotion of initiatives designed to educate, prepare, and arm employees with the tools and knowledge they need to provide unparalleled results for our high-tech clients.

Galatis came to memoryBlue from Appian, where she worked as senior manager of sales enablement charged with onboarding a 350-person sales organization. Her skills in curriculum development and sales training, acquired at MicroStrategy—where she was responsible for 70% of revenue gained for their Global Education team—enable lucrative careers for Academy students.

Galatis earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a concentration in public health education from James Madison University.

Nina Smith
Director of Operations

Nina Smith oversees operations in all six memoryBlue offices. Since Smith joined us in 2019, she has grown her industrious team from two to six. She coordinated the logistics for the opening of the Denver and Seattle offices and led the charge on five office expansions this year alone.

She launched her career at Hilton hotels in operations, accounting, and restaurant management. After moving cross-country to San Diego, she joined the Hyatt hotel group, where she held various operations management roles in her 5-year tenure. Her consistent diligence and commitment to excellence during her time at Hyatt awarded her Manager of the Year in 2017.

Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management from Old Dominion University, where she served as a VP of Recruitment and President of Alpha Phi.

Stephanie Kruelle
Controller

Stephanie Kruelle leads our internal accounting team, overseeing operational accounting, the production of financial reports, and maintenance of accounting systems and policies. Kruelle has allowed for a seamless transition to in-house operations and the staffing of an internal team.

Throughout her career, Kruelle has held similar positions in industries including, software as a service, marketing consulting, telecom, and government contracting. She brings a wealth of experience in accounting, corporate compliance, financial strategic planning, and ensuring reporting and control systems fall within the acceptable guidelines.

Kruelle holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland-College Park, and a CPA license from the state of Maryland.

Ron Cooke
Director of Public Sector

Our public sector practice runs under the diligent supervision and expert guidance of Ron Cooke – Director, Public Sector. Ron was tapped to lead this team just shy of 4-years after joining memoryBlue. He started as an SDR in 2018 and got promoted to delivery manager in less than a year. As a Delivery Manager, Ron managed over 20 client engagements and 40 SDRs — 10 of whom were ultimately hired out by their client.

In July of 2021, Ron onboarded to the quickly expanding Public Sector department. In the past 5-months, he’s furthered the growth of this burgeoning business venture, with outstanding management of 15 client engagements, leading a top-performing team throughout. With his ascent to Director of Public Sector, Ron intends to double the size of this formidable department by 2023.

Cooke holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University.

Joey Trapasso
Head of Global Head of Client Recruitment Services

Joey Trapasso serves as the Global Head of Client Recruitment Services at memoryBlue, where he drives world-class strategies to help organizations build and scale high-performing sales development teams. With a proven track record of recruiting and scaling sales teams across multiple industries, Joey has been instrumental in delivering exceptional talent solutions for our clients.

Joey’s expertise includes designing and implementing SDR (Sales Development Representative) programs for rapidly growing organizations. Notable achievements include:

  • Building a 30+ SDR team post-Series B for AllyO, leading to significant pipeline growth, Fortune 500 client wins, and a strategic acquisition by HireVue.
  • Launching Vast Data’s SDR team, helping secure $83M in Series D funding.
  • Spearheading Darktrace’s recruitment efforts post-IPO, placing over 200 top-tier sales professionals and streamlining the hiring process with one placement every five days.

Joey’s leadership has consistently supported organizations in achieving critical milestones such as acquisitions, funding rounds, and global growth.

Jeremy Wood
Head of Client Delivery

Jeremy Wood oversees all client engagement and sales development for our east coast offices, totaling 205 SDRs over 24 teams.

In 2019 Wood opened the Boston office, managing all client engagement and sales development activities, where he grew sales development representative (SDR) talent by 125% and client delivery management positions by 200% within the first two years.

In his time with memoryBlue Wood has expertly supervised the three longest-tenured client accounts among his 25+ overall client engagements and personally managed and mentored 34 SDRs, 22 of whom went on to get hired out by a client or promoted to key internal positions on the sales and talent teams. His clients have added over $10Million to the qualified sales pipeline and closed millions of dollars in new deals.

Wood earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from James Madison University.

Chris Corcoran
Cofounder and Managing Partner

Chris Corcoran is Cofounder of memoryBlue and an evangelist for the high-tech sales profession. He sets the strategic direction and oversees the core operational functions of the firm.

Under Corcoran’s leadership, memoryBlue is consistently one of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. Inc. magazine has recognized the firm on its annual Inc. 5000 list for nine consecutive years (2013-2021), placing it in the top 1% of companies for steady growth during that time span.

The firm received the Corporate Culture Award by The American Association of Inside Sales Professionals and is guided by five core values – hustle, grow, care, fun, and abundance.

Before launching memoryBlue, Corcoran held inside and field sales roles with DIGEX and F5 Networks.

Corcoran received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Tech, where he sits on its Sales Advisory Board.

Marc Gonyea
Cofounder and Managing Partner

Marc Gonyea is Cofounder of memoryBlue and an enthusiast for sales development success within the high-tech industry. He oversees all client engagements from design, to development, to delivery.

Under Gonyea’s direction, more than 1,000 high-tech companies have increased the performance of their sales development efforts. He has built memoryBlue into a top source for proven sales talent and remains active with the firm’s robust alumni network of more than 350 standout professionals.

Gonyea was named “Top 25 Most Influential Inside Sales Professionals” by the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals and serves on the advisory board of Strategic Cyber Ventures, a cyber security focused venture capital firm.

Before launching memoryBlue, Gonyea held inside and field sales roles with CA Technologies and MicroStrategy.

Gonyea received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from George Mason University.
