memoryBlue Insights 6/5/23
Below is the memoryBlue weekly bulletin, delivering sales development insights every Monday to our entire slate of high-tech clients. The updates span all six memoryBlue offices, encompassing 175+ sales development campaigns and 300+ SDRs working relentlessly to generate net new revenue for these businesses.
This week we cover both an exciting Call Competition between our Denver Delivery Managers and a fireside chat with mB Alum Ellie Miller!
Notable Numbers
- 105% – Percent increase in our mB Academy attendance from April to May. We’re thrilled to be welcoming in so many fantastic new hires to our training program at a much higher rate than previous months!
- 15.4% – Percent increase in connections with prospects from April to May. As we’ve watched our company hustle increase with a greater number of dials, it’s rewarding to see this result in more conversations on the phones too!
- 33 – Number of external Academy attendees YTD. It’s always a pleasure to host clients in our Academy to give them a firsthand look at our training program and why our SDRs are truly the best in the business!
Highlight of the Week
After watching our Co-Founders go head-to-head in some exciting blitz battles, our Delivery Managers were ready to get in the action. However, rather than just picking two, we hosted a Call Competition with every DM in our Denver office!
As they hit the phones and started brushing up on their cold calling skills, we tuned in to see who could get in the most dials while also having valuable conversations with prospects and of course booking those meetings! In the end DM Gia De Choudens took the lead with 68 dials, 8 connections with prospects, 1 booked meeting, and a total of 25 minutes on the phone!
Fireside Chat
Last week Co-Founder Marc Gonyea hosted one of our Alumni Ellie Miller for an exceptionally motivating fireside chat. As someone who has greatly succeeded as a sales rep, team member, and leader Ellie had a ton of wisdom to share for both our SDRs and Delivery Managers!
Ellie now serves as the Director of Sales & Partner Enablement at Critical Insight. However, while she’s reached immense success, that isn’t to say she didn’t have her own share of struggles at the start. Struggles that have strengthened her ability to serve as a humble leader and enabled her to accrue countless life lessons and valuable pieces of advice that she continues to pass down. From learning that a promotion should never come as a surprise because of your visible hard work, to living by the 24-hour rule and only allowing herself to celebrate the wins and lament the losses for a 24-hour period, Ellie’s advice was exceptionally helpful for people of all different positions within our company!

“Thad is obviously perfect. Although his federal division does not really handle a tool like ours, he is the top-level guy, couldn’t have gotten higher than Thad. He will make a reference to some people that can help.”
