The 2025 Alumni of the Year Finalists Are In!
The application period has officially closed, and our finalists have been selected.
Now in its 11th year, the memoryBlue Alumni of the Year program continues to recognize the incredible impact our alumni are making across the high-tech sales landscape.
With over 1,000 professionals in the field, competition for the 2025 title was fierce. We’re honored to celebrate this community of driven, accomplished sales leaders.
The winner will be announced on May 21, 2025. Stay tuned!
The Prize
The winner of our most prestigious alumni honor earns a $5,000 dream vacation on us along with the accolades that come with joining the select group of prior victors.
We will also hang a banner celebrating the achievement in each of our offices — letting every memoryBlue visitor and employee know just how much this accomplishment means. Finally, the 2024 winner will get a conference room named after him/her in one of our offices.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOUR APPLICATION:
To help us recognize the most deserving candidates, please ensure your application highlights the following key areas:
1. Sales Performance Metrics Provide specific data showcasing your sales achievements over the past year, such as:
Quota Attainment: Percentage of sales targets met or exceeded.
Revenue Generated: Total sales figures or growth percentages.
New Business Development: Number of new clients acquired or markets entered.
Example: Achieving 215% of a $2.5 million quota and being recognized as one of the top sales executives in your company.
2. Leadership and Impact
Describe your contributions beyond individual sales, including:
Team Leadership: Roles in mentoring or leading sales teams to success.
Strategic Initiatives: Implementation of strategies that improved processes or outcomes.
Industry Influence: Participation in industry panels, publications, or thought leadership.
Example: Leading a team to close over $2 billion in total contract value and running the largest data center internship program in Northern Virginia.
3. Community Involvement
Highlight any philanthropic efforts or community service, such as:
Volunteer Work: Participation in charitable organizations or events.
Mentorship: Guiding aspiring professionals within or outside the sales industry.
Advocacy: Supporting causes that promote diversity, education, or other social initiatives.
Example: Co-founding an organization that promotes thought leadership and networking opportunities for the advancement of technology, and involvement in various charities supporting children living in poverty and research for muscular dystrophy.
4. Endorsements

Achieved President’s Club for the third consecutive year, closing 25% of his annual ARR in December alone, including his second- and third-largest deals of the year.
Background on the Alumni of the Year Award
After 22 years of helping companies surface new revenue opportunities, hundreds of memoryBlue alumni have elevated into roles with some of the industry’s most recognizable names and hottest start-ups.
The memoryBlue Alumni of the Year Award recognizes individuals who have achieved outstanding accomplishments and put together a “career year” so to speak. The winner receives “Hall of Fame” treatment in our offices complete with a $5,000 dream vacation on us and a banner commemorating the achievement.
